Assistant Principal - Tracey Everhart

My name is Tracey Everhart and I am the assistant principal of South Davidson Middle and High Schools.  This is my second year in this position and I am so excited to be a Wildcat!

I am beginning my 23rd year in education and my love of teaching and supporting students has grown with each year.  I am proud to say that I attended UNC-Greensboro and attained a Post Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership, a Master’s Degree with a focus on curriculum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and licensure in English/Language Arts for grades

6-9.

My first seven years of teaching took place in the elementary setting. After a nine year break to be a stay-at-home mom, I re-entered the workforce as a middle school teacher. I then remained in the middle school setting, but moved into the position of Lead Teacher for two years. Last year, I came to South to begin my career in administration.

I look forward to spending this non-traditional school year working with students, parents, and teachers. This is going to be a challenging year, but we are in it together and we will have a wonderful year.
